How Do I Find Information About Payment of Benefits for Missing Work?

If your health care provider certifies that you are unable to work as a result of your injury or occupational disease, your self-insured employer or their third-party administrator (TPA) may pay a portion of your lost wages, called "time-loss compensation."

You may not be paid to attend medical provider appointments unless your provider certifies that you are unable to work.
